Christina Adane is rooted in purpose-led movement, working along the intersection of social justice and youth culture.

She is currently available for consulting engagements, speaking inquiries and commissioned projects.

Christina was founding co-chair of Bite Back’s youth board, a youth-led movement fighting the injustices of the food industry. She fronted national campaigns over the years such as extending free school meal provision over lockdown, which garnered 450,000 signatures on her petition which led to a government U-turn in the May half-term. Marcus Rashford then spearheaded this campaign during the summer holidays.

Christina worked intensely during and after college at Bite Back, focusing on their external relations with government and corporations. She travelled Europe speaking at conferences, working with the senior executives of multinational companies to improve their child health strategy alongside lobbying government to implement health policies.

After a run of four years focused solely on campaigning for food equity, Christina decided to diversify across several other passions. This includes co-creating a magazine, working with Google on their next generation of consumer products, and sitting on various national and international councils working across various social justice issues.

Media

Adane’s work in food and advocacy has been featured at length in The Guardian, i_D, The Financial Times, The Telegraph, The Big Issue, the BBC, The Independent and many more. Christina also directed her own program on Radio 4 called ‘My Name is Christina.’
